| The company is a leading U.K. -based provider of temporary and contract staffing services to a wide variety of businesses, professional and service organizations and governmental agencies. The company also provides permanent placement staffing services including 1) specialty services requiring professional and skilled personnel such as information technology, engineering/technical, accounting, healthcare, education and teleservices and 2) traditional office adminstration and light industrial services. The company's pro forma sales were $547.2 million in 1995 and $489.0 million for the nine months ended September 30, 1996, of which approximately 50% and 57%, respectively, were derived from Specialty Staffing. |
