| The company is a bank holding company. The primary assets of the Company are the capital stock of the Bank and, upon completion of the Public Offering, the net proceeds therefrom. The business of the Company is currently is currently limited to the business of the Bank, which is the Company's sole subsidiary. As of December 31, 1995, the Company had a consolidated assets of 100.3 million dollars and consolidated deposits of 89.6 million dollars. The Bank is a Rhode Island state-chartered commercial bank with three banking offices, including its main and executive offices located in Providence, Rhode Island. Today, in accordance with its initial strategy, the Bank offers a wide range of lending and deposit products primarily to individuals with small businesses. |
