| The company is a licensed home health care agency engaged primarily in supplying the services of paraprofessionals who provide a broad range of health care support services to patients' in their homes. The company operates in all five boroughs of New York City and the counties of Nassau, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Duchess, Ulster, Putnam and Sullivan, in the State of New York. The company's services are supplied principally pursuant to contracts with health care institutions and agencies such as the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan, New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, BethAbraham Health Services in the Bronx and Westchester County and the New York State Department of Social Services. The company operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week to receive referrals and coordinate services with physicians, case managers, patients and their families. It offers a broad range of support services, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and feeding; meal preparation, light housekeeping and shopping; and, to a limited extent, standard skilled nursing services such as the changing of dressings, injections, catheterizations and administration of medications and physical therapy. |
