| The company is a fully-integrated real estate services company that provides property, facility and investment management services to institutional and corporate owners of and investors in commercial real estate in the United States and Asia. The company's services include (i) property and facilities management and leasing services for approximately 1,740 commercial properties containing approximately 149 million square feet and over 19,000 tenants, (ii) investment management for asset portfolios consisting primarily of commercial real estate investments, which had an aggregate cost basis of approximately $2.0 billion as of June 30, 1996 and (iii) a variety of related services which provide the company's client with "one-stop shopping" throughout the ownership of their real estate investments. The company's approximately 2,600 employees provide these services through a network of 279 offices located in 22 out of the 25 largest Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) in the United States and in five major cities in Asia. |
