| Business Description |
| The company owns and operates 13 full-service, white tablecloth Italian restaurants serving creatively prepared, premium quality Italian cuisine based on authentic regional recipes. The company's restaurants offer an extensive menu, featuring house-made and imported pasta, poultry and game from a wood-fired rotisserie, meat and fresh fish from a charcoal grill, pizza from a wood-burning oven, soups, salads and desserts. The Il Fornaio dining experience is complemented by fresh, hand-made breads, pastries and other baked goods that are produced in the company's restaurants and five wholesale bakeries. Il Fornaio's wholesale bakeries also sell baked goods to quality grocery stores, specialty retailers, hotels and other fine restaurants. In addition, the company operates a retail market in each restaurant, which sells baked goods, prepared foods and a variety of Il Fornaio-brand products, allowing guests to recreate the Il Fornaio dining experience at home. |
